IPSSA Member
IPSSA – The Independent Pool and Spa Service Association, Inc. exists for the mutual professional benefit and growth of its members and for the continued improvement of the pool and spa industry. IPSSA was formed in 1988 as a result of a merger between IPSA and Cal-IPSA. Those two organizations were a part of the original association founded in 1961 for the purpose of pool service technicians banding together to help each other in times of illness or disability.
NPC Certified
NPC Start up Certified – The Start-up Technician Certification Program is a National Plasterers Council (NPC) initiative to set forth the proper protocol for a pool’s initial start-up. With this program, the NPC has established the industry’s standard for the start-up and care of plastered pools across the globe. NPC Certified Technicians have verifiable industry knowledge and hands-on experience to provide a quality start-up for in-ground swimming pools and spas using the NPC-approved method taught in the Certification Class.
Pool & Hot Tub Member
Members of the Pool & Hot Tub Alliance maintain professional growth through education, training, certification, and accreditation and have pledged to comply with our Code of Ethics. With a network of over 3,600 companies worldwide, PHTA members share best practices, stay informed on the latest industry standards, and access the most up-to-date codes. This membership distinguishes trusted companies, demonstrating a commitment to continuous learning, skill development, and excellence in service.
CMS Certified
CMS – stands for Certified Pool and Spa Maintenance Specialist. This certification is awarded to professionals who received advanced training in safety, pool circulation and filtration, pool maintenance, water quality, electrical systems, pool structures and much more. This specialist has the knowledge and expertise needed to provide clients with the best service.
CPI Certified
CPI – The Certified Pool & Spa Inspector®️ (CPI®️) creates a foundation for health officials and pool operators to conduct pool and spa inspections to support the assurance of a sanitary, healthy, and safe environment for staff and patrons of public swimming pools and spas.
CPO Certified
CPO – The Certified Pool & Spa Operator®️ (CPO®️) certification program is the world’s leading education and certification program for keeping pools safer and keeping them open. Over 700,000 students have been trained since 1973. CPO certification provides individuals with the knowledge, techniques, and skills required for proper pool operations.
